I started with a pre-school dance class at three. I wanted more straight away and tried every style I could.
I joined the Ndigo Company, and with the team I visited Fontys University of the Arts in Tilburg. What struck me was the shared passion for dance. I knew right away this was a place where I could feel at home.
I graduated from the Dance Education programme in 2021. During my studies I created my first production, a dance piece called 'The Closet'. There's nothing quite like starting with a small idea and a group of people and turning it into a finished choreography.
Along the way I fell in love with teaching. I love standing in front of a class and sharing everything dance has to offer, across every style.
Teaching is a two-way thing — teacher and student inspire and learn from each other.
I also earned my ABT teaching certificate in New York, covering levels Pre-Primary to Level 3.
