Maité's parents speak. Maité is currently in her second year of primary school and has just completed her first year as a dancer with the Modern team ND-Kidz. Maité is a cheerful, enthusiastic girl with a deep passion for dance.

Did the dance season with the team turn out as you had expected?
She expected it to be a fun dance season, but it exceeded her expectations. She loved it. She can't wait to carry on.
How was the first dance season for you, as parents?
As parents, it's wonderful to see our girl shine on stage like that. We never thought she would dare. The insecure girl she can be, you then see on stage full of confidence. Wonderful to watch.

How did the first competition go for your dancer?
At first Maité found it scary to stand on a stage and dance in front of an audience, but after the first competition it gave her such a good feeling that she was already looking forward to the next ones. She has overcome a large part of her fears and insecurities. That said, there is always a healthy dose of stress and excitement before a performance.
How did your dancer feel within the group?
She found every dance experience with her team brilliant. As the newcomer and also the youngest of the entire group, she felt at ease straight away. Her experiences with ND-Kidz were nothing but positive.
