Technique, posture, musicality.
From the first plié to a full variation on pointe. Our teachers are ABT-certified and build every level with patience, structure and an eye for the individual dancer.

You want a ballet school that takes technique seriously without losing the love of dance. Where a beginner gets the same attention as an advanced teen. Where the teachers know what they are doing.
Our ballet teachers trained at Fontys Dance Academy and the American Ballet Theatre programme, and they bring international experience together with a solid teaching plan. We have been teaching ballet in Roeselare for over 15 years, from children just starting out to Ballet Elite and Pointes.

"At this dance school, our daughters don't just take dance classes — they grow as people. There is attention for everyone, open communication, and we always get advice."
Emmeline Ramant , parentMore than beautiful lines.
Classical ballet is the foundation every other dance style builds on. The benefits reach far beyond the studio — children who take ballet carry that discipline, posture and body control everywhere.
A back you recognise
Standing tall, shoulders open, head high. Ballet students carry that into school, into photos, onto every sports field.
Practising without it feeling forced
Every class builds on the last. Children learn to repeat and improve without it feeling heavy. A skill that reaches well beyond the studio.
Strength, flexibility and coordination
Built up in layers from a young age. A physical foundation every other sport can build on.
Moving on the beat, feeling the phrasing
Ballet trains the ear. Children learn not just to count, but to listen for dynamics, tempo and mood in the music.
Growing in front of the mirror
Week after week they see themselves improve. Ballet exams, performances, small victories — it all adds up.
The language every dance style understands
Plié, relevé, tendu — the vocabulary of ballet comes back in jazz, modern, contemporary and pointe. Start here, and you can go anywhere.
60 minutes, four phases.
Every ballet class follows the same structure. The repetition gives security, the progression gives growth. Teachers adjust the level per group, but the framework stays the same.
Barre exercises
Pliés, tendus, dégagés, rond de jambe — warming up the body and building placement and strength.
Centre work
Away from the barre. Adagio for balance and line, then faster exercises for turning power and coordination. This is where the barre work pays off.
Allegro & jumps
Petit allegro for quick feet, grand allegro for jumps and travelling. The energy goes up, and so does the music.
Révérence & closing
The traditional bow closes the class. A moment of stillness and calm. Afterwards there is time for a quick question to the teacher.

Questions parents often ask.
What age can my child start ballet?
From age 6 (Year 1 primary) in the Ballet Tinies group. Younger children (3–5) start with Pre-school Dance, where they learn the basics through play and get ready for ballet.
Does my child need prior experience?
No. The Tinies group starts from scratch. Children coming from Pre-school Dance have a head start, but beginners are equally welcome.
What is the difference between levels?
Tinies (Years 1–2 primary), Minies (Years 3–4), Kids (Years 5–6), Juniors (Years 1–3 secondary), Teens (Years 4–6 secondary), Elite (advanced) and Adults. Each level has its own teaching plan tailored to the age and body of the dancer.
What should my child wear?
Ndigo ballet uniform by level, available in our shop. For the trial class, sportswear and ballet slippers or socks will do.
Are there exams?
Yes, ballet exams every year before a professional jury. It is not a stress test but a chance to grow. Participation is compulsory for those following the full season.
Can my child go on pointe?
Pointe technique only starts when the teacher judges that the ankle and foot muscles are strong enough, usually from age 12. Safety always comes first.
